How to troubleshoot a malfunctioning heating system

If your furnace heat is low try the following troubleshooting steps:

• Insure nothing is on the way of warm air flow.
• Verify the thermostat set up is properly done.
• Raise temperature 5 degrees up then wait for a couple of minutes.
• The room heating registers have to be open.
• If the filter is dirty replace it

If these simple steps don’t work; either the blower isn’t working properly or the system is out of balance.
