If You Have Fumes in the Boiler Room

Perform a combustion analysis to determine if an incorrect combustion might be the cause.
If not inspect the boiler, chimney, and boiler room fresh air intake for the source of the blockage, that may cause inadequate airflow for combustion.
One more possibility could be a flue leakage, due to unsealed holes. To correct that, try and cover the holes and check again for leakage.
Finally, the boiler room fans may have stopped. In this instance, check to make sure the fans work.
