If You Have Fumes in the Boiler Room

• Perform a combustion analysis to determine if an incorrect combustion might be the cause.
• If not inspect the boiler, chimney, and boiler room fresh air intake for the source of the blockage, that may cause inadequate airflow for combustion.
• One more possibility could be a flue leakage, due to unsealed holes. To correct that, try and cover the holes and check again for leakage.
• Finally, the boiler room fans may have stopped. In this instance, check to make sure the fans work.
